song of the day: battle of duck lake (portico)
portico are a great little band out of vancouver that feature two of my favourite things: a canadian mid-’90’s power-pop/rawk sound and lyrics about canadian history. they’ve been making great music for around 5 years, including their latest album, last year’s “first neighbours.”
