song of the day: i quit my job (old man luedecke)

how many of you out there have had the urge to just quit your job and get the heck out of the rat race? especially after a long week?

well, this one’s for you. hey, most of you will be quitting your job today… at least for a couple days before monday hits again.

old man luedecke has been making banjo folk for awhile now and has just started hitting his stride commercially, with a “traditional folk” best album award at last year’s junos.

this is an older one, though. from 2006’s hinterland:

i quit my job.
