The count from the people working the door had the #Petertweeters pulling in 130 people for last night’s incredibly successful event. Feedback from the audience was universally positive. The #Petertweeters were groundbreaking, being, as far as organizers go, the first event of its kind in Ontario.
“Actually, I’ve not seen much in the way of community Twitter awards shows,” says #Petertweeter Committee Chair, Donald Fraser. “We might be one of the first — of not the first — communities to do something like this.”
