song of the day: strange overtones (david byrne and brian eno)

dig it. the most wonderful of collaborators, david byrne and brian eno, got back together to record 2008’s “everything that happens happens today.” a highlight from that recording is “strange overtones.”

it makes me nostalgic for the talking heads while at the same time offers some wonderfully fresh sounds.

considering the dreck that eno produced with U2 during this same period, the groove of this album is a great relief!
